New Vaccine Refrigerator technology in cold chain
09 May 2012
The method of tansportation and storage facilities for vaccines, known as the cold chain, connects a pathway for immunisation facilities and healthcare services in the most remote regions of the world. Maintaining the vaccine cold chain of proper refrigeration from the place of manufacture to the beneficiary is imperative to the success of immunisation programmes.
A weak cold chain limits how far vaccines can travel, which means people in the most remote places are denied access to effective medical treatment because the storage mechanism has failed.
True Energy want to see Sure Chill® technology deployed where it's needed most. Sure Chill® Vaccine Refrigerators have been extensively tested at our R&D laboratories and are PQS qualified. Our Vaccine Refrigerators will operate effectively in high temperatures and maintain the required temperature for over 10 days without power. Sure Chill® technology can come as a mains connected fridge, or a solar powered fridge (without batteries) to increase performance and reliablility where there is no mains electricity.
