  Peter Saunders OBE | Chairman

  It is Peter's vision, imagination and entrepreneurial insight that shape True Energy’s long-term goals and inspire our ambitions. Peter first achieved his powerful business reputation in the food industry where he created and built the award winning Halo Foods group. His entrepreneurial spirit and exacting standards earned the admiration of his peers and in 1995 he was awarded an OBE. Peter was also awarded Best Investment in Technology Sector by the British Angels Association for his investment in True Energy.

  Keith Bartlett | Group Chief Executive Officer

  Keith is responsible for all aspects of the company, including our business strategy and overall performance. He is the guardian of our organisational culture and values and takes responsibility for nurturing our corporate brand, image and reputation. Before joining True Energy, Keith ran his own consultancy business offering advice, project management and support to Government Agencies and their delivery organisations. He was also Skills Director with the National Learning and Skills Council and Director of HR Strategy and Planning for the Heart of England Training and Enterprise Council.

  Ian Tansley | Chief Technical Officer

  Ian is a leading figure in the renewable energy industry and a world-class solar power design engineer with more than 25 years’ experience of solar technologies. He has designed and deployed solar solutions for a wide range of global clients including the World Bank, WHO and the UN, as well as being involved in the development of the Centre for Alternative Technology in Wales. At True Energy, Ian is responsible for the research, development and improvement of new and existing products, as well as providing technical advice for both colleagues and customers. He is a highly skilled project manager and closely involved in many of our key accounts.

  John Barker | Chief Finance Officer

  John is in charge of all aspects of corporate financial management for True Energy. He works closely with our Group Chief Executive Officer to support the smooth running of the company and the development of business plans. He is a central member of True Energy’s management team and his broad City experience is a great asset to True’s development in the rapidly growing, multinational, sustainable energy industry. John is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants, and has served as Finance Director for major PLCs.

  Stewart Jones | International Business Development Director

  Calling on his extensive experience in business development, commercialisation, licensing and taking new products to market across a wide range of technology sectors, Stewart identifies and nurtures business relationships, collaboration projects and partnerships for True Energy, both within the UK and overseas. He informs NGOs, Aid organisations, Ministries of Health and commercial organisations of our groundbreaking Sure Chill™ technology, our Vaccine Refrigerator and other innovations. He also contributes to new product, service and technology development and helps to champion our long-term initiatives.
